Chile is my adoptive country. And after more than a decade here, I am still astonished by the amount of expressions I still discover every week. It got me thinking about how hard integration can be when you speak the language, but not enough to understand the variations and specific idioms spoken locally. This is a recurrent challenge for Spanish speaking migrants who arrive to Chile, and think they will get everything since they speak the official language.
El Chilenista tries to alleviate this language gap by teaching Chilean expressions and says. El Chilenista is the first Ruby On Rails application I have built by myself since my Coding Bootcamp at Le Wagon.
